PLANNED PROJECTS

Your kind donations will be used for the following purposes:

Immediate/Ongoing necessities include:
1. money to buy food
2. money for a modest daily stipend
3. money to offer to visiting teachers/travel to Dharma teachings
4. medicines including basic first aid and feminine hygiene supplies
5. warm bedding

Long term projects will include improvements in:
1. health care training support (the nearest doctor is an hour and half walk away, and since he is male, the nuns are reluctant to discuss any female-specific health issues with him)
2. installation of solar power and possibly a green house
3. insulation/construction of buildings
4. medicines for arthritis and gall bladder ailments

Dipamkara Foundation was created to support Gar Nunnery (Dechen Tsel). We deeply appreciate your support and interest.
